Product Overview
SpaGuard® Water Clarifier makes cloudy spa and hot tub water sparkling clear. Cloudiness often comes from particles too fine for the filter to catch on their own; a clarifier helps the filter capture them so the water polishes up. SpaGuard® states that it does not affect pH. The bottle holds 1 pint (16 fl oz, 473 mL).
Add it at the dose on the label for your spa's volume, with the jets running, and let the filter run afterward to trap the gathered particles. Dealer listings disagree on the amount and circulation time, so follow the bottle. Clean the filter regularly, because the clarifier sends more debris into it.
Water Clarifier does not sanitize or oxidize the water. If cloudiness keeps coming back, check sanitizer level, pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness, and shock the spa. Keep out of reach of children, read all precautions on the label before handling, and do not mix it with other chemicals.
