SpaGuard® Anti Foam is a fast-acting liquid defoamer formulated for spas and hot tubs, designed to quickly remove surface foam caused by lotions, body oils, detergents and other bathing residues.
Compatible with all types of sanitation systems (chlorine, bromine, salt, ozone) so you don’t have to worry about disrupting your existing water care routine.

Q: How often should I use it?

Q: What causes foam in my spa?

A: Foam is commonly caused by residual soaps, shampoos, lotions, deodorants and other organic compounds that create suds under agitation. SpaGuard® Anti Foam addresses the symptom but controlling source contamination helps reduce frequency.

Q: Does using this affect pH or sanitizer levels?

A: No — the formula is designed to quickly reduce foam without significantly altering your spa’s pH or sanitizing chemistry.

Directions

Ensure your spa pump/circulation system is running.

Add approximately ½ fl oz (≈1 teaspoon) of SpaGuard® Anti Foam per 600 gallons of water, or 1 teaspoon per 200 gallons if heavier foam persists.

Pour the product directly into the spa water.

If foam remains after a few minutes, repeat the dose as needed.

For best results, maintain proper water balance (pH, alkalinity, sanitizer) and clean filters regularly.
