Product Overview
The Sundance® 880™/980™ Series 75 Sq Ft Filter Cartridge (part #6540‑507S) is a genuine OEM MicroClean® replacement filter built for a wide range of Sundance® spas across two generations. On the 880™ Series, it fits Cameo, Optima, Maxxus, Altamar, Marin, and Capri models from 2002 through 2023, plus Majesta from 2002‑2015 and Cambria from 2018‑2020. On the newer 980™ Series, it fits Kingston and Claremont models from 2017 through 2026. Because this cartridge spans so many models and years, matching your spa’s existing filter or checking your owner’s manual is the most reliable way to confirm fit.
Constructed from durable, pleated polyester media, the cartridge provides 75 square feet of filtration area to capture dirt, oils, and fine particles before they reach the spa’s pump and plumbing. Installation is tool‑free: the cartridge lifts out of the existing housing and the replacement drops back in the same way, with no special tools required. Regular rinsing between full replacements—about every 12 to 18 months under normal use—helps the pleated media keep working efficiently and extends the time between cartridge changes.
Because #6540‑507S is manufactured to Sundance®’s own OEM specifications, it restores full filtration performance and proper fit across this broad range of 880 and 980 Series spas, rather than the approximate fit of a generic universal cartridge.
