Product Overview
FROG® Defoamer quickly removes surface foam from hot tub water. FROG explains that foam comes from soaps, cosmetics, lotions, detergents and other contaminants that bathers bring into the water, and Defoamer knocks it down on contact so the water looks and feels clean again. It's formulated by FROG for hot tubs and is compatible with all sanitizing systems, including FROG @ease® and FROG Serene™. This bottle holds 16 oz.
To use it, turn on circulation and squirt 1 oz directly into the hot tub, right onto the foam. If foam remains, add another ounce. Use it as needed whenever the water turns foamy.
FROG notes that defoamers address a short-term problem. If foam keeps coming back, the water is likely loaded with contaminants, and it may be time to drain and refill with fresh water. Showering before soaking, rinsing swimsuits free of detergent, and regular non-chlorine shocking all help keep foam from building up.
