The Sundance® Filter Weir Assembly (Gray)—also called a floating skimmer gate—is the OEM part #6472‑809 used in the skimmer housing of Sundance® 780™ and 880™ Series spas built in 2009 and later. The weir is a hinged gate that floats with the water level at the skimmer opening, drawing surface water and floating debris into the filtration system while helping prevent large debris from bypassing the skimmer basket. Keeping this gate in good working order supports consistent water flow to the MicroClean® filter system and helps the pump maintain steady suction across the skimmer intake.
Molded from rugged, UV‑ and chemical‑resistant thermoplastic, the weir is lightweight (about 0.26 lb) and sized to drop into the existing weir housing without modification.
