The Sundance® 6540-488S is a genuine Sundance® Spas 125 sq ft pleated filter cartridge, about 8.5" in diameter and 19" long, with an open 2.5" bottom and a closed top end cap with a molded center fitting.

It was the original filter for 2002–2008 850™ and 880™ Series spas and several 780™ Series models. Sundance® dealers also list it as a one-piece replacement for the original MicroClean® and MicroClean® Ultra filter sets on many 780™, 880™, 980™ and Select™ Series spas. In those spas it replaces the complete inner and outer set, not a single cartridge.

Listed fitment: On the 850™ Series, this cartridge is listed for Maxxus, Cameo and Optima (2002–2004), Altamar, Marin and Capri (2002–2005), and Majesta (2005). On the 880™ Series, it is listed for Maxxus, Cameo and Optima (2005–2008), Altamar, Majesta, Marin and Capri (2006–2008), and 880™ Series spas with the original MicroClean® Ultra system (2009–2023).

On the 980™ Series, it is listed for Claremont and Kingston with the original MicroClean® Ultra system (2017–2025). On the 780™ Series, it is listed for Bahia, Cayman and Palermo (2006) and for 780™ models except the Solo with the original horizontal filter assembly (2007–2025). Other listed spas are Caprio and CaprioST (2002–2007), Metro (2004–2007) and Portofino Tango (2002–2003), along with Select™ Series Constance and Victoria with the original filter assembly (2011–2018).

Does not fit: MicroClean® Ultra II, MicroClean® Ultra II Lite, or MicroClean® Mini (680™ Series) systems. Lisbon, Odessa and later Cambria spas vary by installed filter assembly, so compare your current filter before ordering.
