Product Overview
SpaGuard® Stain & Scale Control is a concentrated, multiple-active-ingredient formula that prevents stains and scale in spas and hot tubs. SpaGuard® states it prevents scale formation and cloudy water caused by high calcium levels and removes relatively fresh metal stains from spa surfaces. The bottle holds 1 quart (32 fl oz, 946 mL).
Add it at the dose on the label for your spa's volume with the circulation running. It works best as ongoing prevention, especially after a fresh fill with hard or metal-bearing water, rather than as a fix for old, set-in stains. Keep pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness in range so metals and calcium stay in solution.
The label carries the DANGER signal word: causes eye burns and may cause skin irritation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, keep it out of reach of children, read all precautions on the label before handling, and never mix it with other chemicals. It does not sanitize the water.
