SpaGuard® Spa Shock-Oxidizer is a buffered, non-chlorine oxidizer built around potassium peroxymonosulfate (MPS). It burns off the organic contaminants — body oils, lotions, sweat — that build up in spa water between full sanitizer treatments, restoring clarity without adding chlorine or bromine to the water.

Because it doesn't rely on a chlorine or bromine reaction, it's compatible with every sanitizer system: chlorine, bromine, ozone, salt, and mineral spas alike. That makes it a convenient weekly oxidizer regardless of which primary sanitizer you run. Follow the dosing chart on the 35 oz container's label, and water is typically safe to re-enter about 15 minutes after treatment — much faster than the wait time for a chlorine shock.
