The SpaGuard® Soft Soak® TRIO Kit takes the guesswork out of water balancing by pre-measuring three months of treatment into individual pouches. The kit includes one startup water-softener pouch (used when you fill the spa), thirteen weekly combined softener-and-clarifier pouches for ongoing maintenance, and one restoring spa-cleanser pouch used before draining to help flush the plumbing.
Add the startup pouch at fill, then drop in one weekly pouch on the same day each week to keep water soft and clear with minimal testing. When it's time to drain the spa, run the cleanser pouch for about an hour first to loosen residue from the plumbing before emptying. This kit is a water-care system, not a sanitizer — you'll still need to run your own chlorine or bromine program alongside it.
Because the pouches introduce active ingredients into the water, avoid using the spa while the weekly or cleanser pouch is circulating, and wait at least 15 minutes after adding a weekly pouch before getting back in. It's a convenient option for spa owners who want fewer separate bottles to manage week to week.
