The Jacuzzi® 373045J is the genuine 50 sq ft ProClear® pleated filter cartridge for Jacuzzi J-100™ Collection hot tubs and pre-2023 J-200™ Collection hot tubs. Jacuzzi's current parts matrix lists it for the 2016-and-newer J-115, J-125, J-135 and J-145, the 2005-and-newer J-210, the 2012-and-newer J-235, J-245 and J-275, and the 2016-and-newer J-215 and J-225. Dealers also list the 2005–2008 J-220 and the 2005–2007 J-230. The pleated polyester media traps dirt, body oils, lotions and other debris as water circulates through the filter compartment, protecting water clarity and the spa's pump and heater.
Check your spa's generation before ordering. J-200 Collection spas built from early 2023 onward (Rev K and later) changed to the oval-style 50 sq ft ProClassic™ filter, 6541-853J, and the J-280 uses the larger 95 sq ft 2540-381J, so neither takes this cartridge. J-100 Collection spas did not change and continue to use 373045J. The cartridge measures about 13-5/16 inches long and 5 inches in diameter with a 2-1/8 inch center opening. If you aren't sure which filter your spa uses, send us the model and serial number from the spa's serial plate and we'll confirm.
Jacuzzi's J-200 owner's manual calls for cleaning the filter cartridge about once a month, or sooner if needed, with a periodic overnight soak in spa filter cleaner, and gives an average filter life of about two years with proper care and water maintenance. Rinse with a garden hose from top to bottom between the pleats, and avoid pressure washers, laundry detergent and bleach, which can damage the media. Many owners keep a second cartridge so one can soak and dry while the other is in the spa.
