Each kit includes one mineral cartridge, which conditions the water and typically lasts about 4 months between spa drain-and-refill cycles, plus three bromine cartridges, each good for roughly 2 to 4 weeks depending on bather load and usage. Buying them together means you won't run out of bromine partway through a mineral cycle.
The mineral cartridge does the bulk of the sanitizing work, which is why FROG® systems typically run on up to 50% less bromine than a standard bromine-only spa — that means less chemical odor and gentler water on skin and swimsuits. This kit is designed for FROG® Serene Floating Systems in hot tubs and spas holding 150 to 600 gallons, and works across all major spa brands. It is not compatible with FROG® @ease® systems, which use a different cartridge design entirely — check which floating system you have before ordering.
