The FROG @ease XL is a revolutionary self-regulating hot tub sanitizer that combines Smartchlor Technology with minerals to create Fresh Mineral Water®. Unlike conventional chlorine systems, Smartchlor maintains a consistent 0.5-1.0 ppm free chlorine level automatically – no daily testing required. The XL version is specifically engineered for larger Bullfrog Spas in the Simplicity Series (up to 600 gallons), providing up to 4 months of continuous sanitation per cartridge set.
This patented system floats in your spa, working 24/7 to kill bacteria while the mineral cartridge conditions the water, reducing pH bounce and keeping your spa water balanced naturally. The result? Softer, cleaner water that's gentler on skin, swimsuits, and spa surfaces.

Replace the SmartChlor cartridge every 3-4 weeks or when the cartridge is empty. The blue Mineral cartridge lasts up to 4 months. Actual replacement frequency depends on bather load and spa usage.

This system is designed specifically for Bullfrog Spas Simplicity Series models manufactured in 2019 or later. If you have an older model or different series, please contact us to find the correct system for your spa.

With FROG @ease, you typically don't need to shock for up to 4 months. However, after heavy use or if water appears cloudy, you may use a non-chlorine shock to oxidize contaminants.

The SmartChlor cartridge has a color indicator that fades from dark to light as it depletes. When it's completely white or empty, it's time to replace. The Mineral cartridge should be replaced every 4 months regardless of appearance.

FROG @ease works best as a complete system. You'll still need to maintain proper pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness. Avoid using additional chlorine products, as the system self-regulates chlorine levels.
