Q: When should I use this product?

A: Use this product when your spa test kit shows pH below 7.2 or alkalinity below 80 ppm.

Q: Will raising alkalinity also raise pH?

A: Yes — increasing alkalinity often causes a corresponding rise in pH. Always retest both parameters.

Q: How much should I add?

A: The required dose depends on spa volume and current chemistry – follow the label. Typical increases might raise alkalinity by ~10–20 ppm per appropriate dose.

Q: Can I use this if my alkalinity is fine but pH is low?

A: Yes — this product raises both, but ensure you test again and avoid overshooting alkalinity.

Q: Will this affect my sanitizer or other chemicals?

A: When used properly, it won’t interfere with your sanitizer. However, be sure your sanitizer, pH and alkalinity are all within target ranges for best performance.

Test spa water and confirm pH is below 7.2 or total alkalinity is below 80 ppm.

With circulation running, broadcast the recommended dose of pH & Alkalinity Up according to your spa’s volume (see label).

Run jets for at least 10–15 minutes to mix the product thoroughly.

Wait 2–4 hours, then retest pH and total alkalinity. Adjust again if necessary.

Store the product in a dry, cool location away from moisture and direct sunlight.
