Product Description

The Hot Tub Things® FROG® @ease Starter Kit is a complete sanitizing and balancing solution designed for Sundance® Spas equipped with the FROG® @ease in-line cartridge holder (part #6473-296 or compatible).
It combines FROG® SmartChlor® self-regulating sanitizer and Mineral Cartridges with Hot Tub Things® balancing products to deliver crystal-clear, balanced water from startup through regular maintenance.
SmartChlor® technology maintains a steady 0.5 – 1.0 ppm chlorine level automatically, reducing chlorine use by up to 75% and eliminating spikes and drops.
The Mineral Cartridge lasts up to 4 months and works with the SmartChlor® Cartridge, which lasts approximately 3 – 4 weeks per replacement.
Included Hot Tub Things® pH & Alkalinity Up, pH & Alkalinity Down, Metal Out, and Oxidizing Spa Shock ensure precise water balance and long-term clarity and comfort.
This kit contains everything required to fill, balance, sanitize, and maintain your Sundance® Spa with ease.
All Hot Tub Things® formulations are spa-grade and compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone, and SmartChlor® systems.

Directions

Confirm that your Sundance® Spa includes the FROG® @ease in-line system (holder #6473-296 or compatible).

Turn off spa power and fill the spa to the recommended level with fresh water.

Add Hot Tub Things® Metal Out (2 oz per 250 gal) and circulate for 30 minutes to remove metals and prevent staining.

Test pH and alkalinity; adjust with Hot Tub Things® pH & Alkalinity Up or Down until balanced (pH 7.2 – 7.8, alkalinity 80 – 120 ppm).

Insert the Mineral Cartridge into the lower slot and the SmartChlor® Cartridge into the upper slot of the in-line system.

Add the FROG® Jump Start oxidizer packet and run jets for 15 minutes with the cover open.

Test weekly using FROG® @ease test strips to verify chlorine and pH levels.

Replace the SmartChlor® Cartridge every 3 – 4 weeks and the Mineral Cartridge every 4 months or after each water change.

Use Hot Tub Things® Oxidizing Spa Shock (2 oz per 300 gal) weekly or after heavy spa use to maintain sparkling water.
