Product Description

The Hot Tub Things® FROG® @ease Starter Kit is the most complete spa water care package for Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs equipped with the FROG® @ease in-line sanitizing system.
It includes both FROG® SmartChlor® and Mineral cartridges for automatic, self-regulating sanitation that uses up to 75% less chlorine than traditional methods.
SmartChlor® technology maintains a consistent 0.5–1.0 ppm chlorine level, eliminating the peaks and dips of manual dosing for consistently soft, clean water.
The mineral cartridge provides four months of continuous protection, while the SmartChlor® cartridge lasts 3–4 weeks per replacement.
This Hot Tub Things® edition adds essential balancing and startup products — pH & Alkalinity Up, pH & Alkalinity Down, Metal Out, and Oxidizing Spa Shock — so you can balance and sanitize your spa from day one.

Directions

Confirm your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub includes the FROG® @ease in-line system (holder part #6473-325 or compatible).

Turn off spa power and fill the spa to the recommended level with fresh water.

Add Hot Tub Things® Metal Out (2 oz per 250 gal) and circulate for 30 minutes to remove metals.

Test pH and alkalinity; adjust with Hot Tub Things® pH & Alkalinity Up or Down until balanced (pH 7.2–7.8, alkalinity 80–120 ppm).

Insert the mineral cartridge into the lower slot and the SmartChlor® cartridge into the upper slot of the in-line system.

Add the FROG® Jump Start oxidizer packet and run jets for 15 minutes with the cover open.

Test water weekly using FROG® @ease test strips.

Replace the SmartChlor® cartridge every 3–4 weeks and the mineral cartridge every 4 months or after draining the spa.

Use Hot Tub Things® Oxidizing Spa Shock weekly (2 oz per 300 gal) to refresh and maintain sparkling water.
