Frequently Asked Questions

• How often should I replace my Hydropool spa pillow?
Most spa pillows should be replaced every 1-3 years, depending on usage and exposure to sun and chemicals. If your pillow shows signs of cracking, fading, or loss of cushioning, it's time for a replacement.
• Is this pillow compatible with my Hydropool spa model?
This Waterfall Pillow (part #8515046) is designed for Hydropool spas manufactured in 2015 or later. Check your spa's model year or contact our team with your spa's serial number for confirmation.
• How do I install the Hydropool Waterfall Pillow?
Installation is simple! Most Hydropool pillows either snap into place or attach with screws. Remove the old pillow, clean the mounting area, and secure the new pillow according to your spa's design. Full instructions are included.
• What's the difference between this pillow and aftermarket alternatives?
Genuine Hydropool pillows are engineered specifically for your spa's dimensions and mounting system. They use premium materials that resist UV damage and chemicals better than generic alternatives, ensuring longer life and better comfort.
• Can I clean this pillow, and how should I maintain it?
Yes! Clean your pillow regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. When not using your spa, consider using a spa cover to protect pillows from UV exposure and extend their lifespan.
• Does this pillow come with mounting hardware?
The pillow includes standard mounting components. If your spa requires specific hardware, it's typically reusable from your old pillow. Contact us if you need replacement mounting screws or clips.
• How is this different from the Hydropool Charcoal Waterfall Headrest (8515024)?
8515024 is the earlier charcoal-colored waterfall pillow for Hydropool units built 2010–2015. This Warm Grey pillow (8515046) is the current version for 2015-and-newer models. Check your spa's build date and your existing pillow's color/style before ordering, since the two generations aren't listed as interchangeable.
• Does this fit hot tubs, swim spas, or both?
Both — it's used across Hydropool Self-Cleaning hot tubs and swim spas that have the waterfall/Oasis feature. It's specific to that feature, not a universal fit for every model in either category, and some Hydropool waterfall features use jets rather than a pillow. Confirm your unit uses a waterfall pillow (not waterfall jets) before ordering.
• Is the waterfall blade included with this pillow?
No. The pillow is sold separately from the waterfall blade itself (Hydropool part #6050005). If you need to replace both the pillow and the blade, order them separately.
