With ample filtration area and easy maintenance, it pairs perfectly with depth-load cartridge #6473‑161J for maximum water clarity.

  • Genuine Jacuzzi® PROCLARITY® 40 sq ft pleated primary filter cartridge (part #6473‑157J) designed for ProClarity® filter systems

  • Fully washable Reemay® media provides deep filtration of oils, sediments, and medium‑sized debris for extended flow life

  • Fits Jacuzzi® J‑495, J‑425, J‑415 (2012+), J‑465, J‑470, J‑480 (2013+), J‑500 (2015+), and select J‑300 Collection spas with ProClarity® upgrades

  • Dimensions are approximately 6″ diameter × 8.5″ height with a 2.375″ bottom access hole and easy-grip handle

  • Rinse and reuse multiple times; replace every 3–6 months or when cleaning reset flow performance

  • Works in tandem with the disposable depth-load filter #6473‑161J (sold separately) for top-tier water clarity

A: Compatible with Jacuzzi® J‑495, J‑425, J‑415 (2012+), J‑465, J‑470, J‑480 (2013+), J‑500 (2015+), and J‑LX models (2011+). Also works with J‑300 tubs upgraded with the ProClarity® system.

Q: How often should I replace or rinse it?

A: Rinse every 3–6 months; replace when visibly worn or flow reduces significantly.

Q: Does this include the depth-load filter?

A: No—this is only the primary pleated cartridge. Depth‑load filter (#6473‑161J) is sold separately.

Directions

Turn off spa power and relieve system pressure.

Remove ProClarity® filter cap and depth-load cartridge.

Lift out old 6473‑157J cartridge using integrated handle.

Rinse pleats thoroughly with water (no detergents).

Reinstall cleaned or new cartridge, then reinstall depth-load filter.

Seal canister, restore power, and observe flow performance. Replace as needed.
