Q: Does the 6473-316 include chemical cartridges?

A: No — it is just the bracket / holder for the Mineral and SmartChlor cartridges.

Q: Which spa models support this bracket?

A: It’s compatible with many Jacuzzi® models when used with the full FROG® @ease system: J-300, J-400, J-500, J-495, J-425, and J-415 (but not J-460).

Q: Can this holder be retrofitted into older spas?

A: Yes. If your spa didn’t come with it from factory, you may retro-install this clip to support the FROG® @ease system.

Q: Does the system function without this holder?

A: No. The FROG® @ease system requires this bracket to hold the cartridges. Without it, the sanitizing system won’t work correctly.

Q: Is no tool installation required?

A: Yes. The bracket clips onto the filter cartridge and doesn’t require additional hardware or adhesives.

Power off your spa and stop all circulation before handling the filter.

Remove the existing filter cartridge to expose the mounting area.

Clip the 6473-316 bracket securely onto the top of your filter cartridge.

Insert the Mineral cartridge in the lower slot of the bracket and the SmartChlor cartridge in the upper slot.

Return the filter assembly and ensure the bracket floats or clips properly in water flow.

Start circulation and check stability & alignment.
