    FAQ

Q: What are the ideal pH and alkalinity ranges for a spa?

A: pH should be between 7.2 and 7.8; total alkalinity between 80–120 ppm.

Q: Can I use this with saltwater or mineral systems?

A: Yes, it’s compatible with all sanitizer types including chlorine, bromine, salt, and minerals.

Q: How often should I test and adjust pH?

A: At least 2–3 times per week, or any time you add new water or chemicals.

Q: What happens if my pH is too low?

A: Low pH can cause corrosion, cloudy water, and reduce sanitizer effectiveness.

Q: Is this the same as “baking soda”?

A: No, while both raise alkalinity, this product is specifically formulated for spa water and adjusts pH as well.

    Directions

Test spa water using test strips or a digital meter.

If pH is below 7.2 or total alkalinity is low, add 1 oz (2 tbsp) per 500 gallons of water.

With the pump running, sprinkle the product evenly across the surface of the water.

Wait 30 minutes and retest water levels.

Repeat dosage as needed until ideal levels are reached.
