Q: What spa models will this cartridge fit?

A: Works in Sundance® 780, 880/850, and 980 spas — provided the spa has the FROG® @Ease holder installed.

Q: Is the bracket included in this kit?

A: No — this is cartridges only. The FROG® @Ease holder (bracket) must be present or purchased separately.

Q: How long do the cartridges last?

A: SmartChlor lasts ~3–4 weeks; Mineral lasts ~4 months or until spa is drained/refilled.

Q: Does this reduce chlorine use?

A: Yes — the system claims up to 75% reduction in chlorine usage compared to traditional methods.

Q: What happens if I run it without the holder?

A: The system will not function properly without the holder — it is required for proper placement and operation.

Ensure your spa has the FROG® @Ease holder / bracket installed (sold separately if not).

Turn off the spa and stop filtration.

Remove the current cartridge set (if applicable).

Snap the Mineral cartridge into the lower slot of the holder, and the SmartChlor cartridge into the upper slot.

Return the holder with the cartridges to the floating position or clip it as designed.

Restore spa filtration and allow the system to begin operating.

Test water weekly and replace SmartChlor cartridges every 3–4 weeks; replace Mineral cartridges every 4 months or when spa is drained.
