Turn off spa power and open the filter access area.

Remove the old inner cartridge from the center of the outer filter.

Insert the new inner filter (part #6473‑283S) into the core housing.

Reinstall the outer filter (#6473‑249S) over the inner core.

Close the filter compartment and turn power back on.

Replace the inner filter every 3–4 months or after a spa drain.
